Order a custom one-of-a-kind ski mask
At HOODLUMROUGE, you don't pick a size and a color from a menu: every ski mask is made for one person, to order. Here's how it goes, from first contact to the finished piece.
1. Book an appointment
Booking an appointment is mandatory before any piece is made. The easiest way is to write through the contact page and describe your idea in a few lines: who the ski mask is for, which colors draw you in, whether there's a name, initials or a phrase to embroider. You can also point to a piece from the collection that speaks to you.
The appointment takes place in person or remotely. In person, you choose the place, as long as you cover the travel costs.
2. Build the piece together
The appointment is where the identity of the balaclava gets set: the knit color, the designs (skull, mouth, teeth, scars, rings, letters…), the thread colors, and the phrase that may go with it. On existing pieces, the lettering often carries the name of the person the mask was made for: SK on Nº 3, NAZRAT on Nº 7.

3. The making
Count on about 1 month of work. The ski mask is embroidered and illustrated by hand: the stitches, the relief and the loose threads can never be reproduced exactly, which is what makes the piece one-of-a-kind. Up to 3 rounds of alterations are possible. Every piece is delivered in its own box, one-of-a-kind as well.
4. Price, payment and delivery
- Price: given during the appointment (no prices are listed on the site).
- Deposit: 30% of the final price. Payment in cash, by bank transfer, in gold, in cryptocurrency or by barter.
- Hand-off or shipping, in France and abroad. In-person hand-off is also possible abroad: travel and accommodation at the buyer's expense.

An ordered piece is never remade. The pieces already made stay visible in the collection, marked “sold”: they form the brand's archive and show the range of what's possible.
